"Last week, I appointed Michael Heenan to serve as your District Recovery Director because I've demanded transparency and accountability in all Stimulus funding," said Congressman Eric Massa. "The families of Western New York are ready for us to deliver on the 7,500 jobs the Stimulus package is projected to create and save and I think this early list demonstrates where a number of our priorities lie."

"I also want to thank Governor Paterson and his staff for helping deliver these funds to the projects such as the I-86 in Steuben County. By working closely with the Governor's office, we were able to move these Stimulus funds to the most important programs. I look forward to announcing more job creating projects in the coming days and weeks."

"These numbers are by no means a complete picture of where all of the stimulus dollars will go, but we are glad to see this capital beginning to flow into key infrastructure projects," said NY-29 Recovery Director Michael Heenan. "We are working very hard to deliver the transparency and accountability that the families of Western New York demanded, and the release of these figures demonstrates our commitment to these principles."
