Protest Update

Today's Democrat and Chronicle carries and op-ed by a member of the group that occupied Randy Kuhl's Fairport office.

In Bath, a "vigil" will be held at 110 Liberty Street at 4 p.m. Wednesday while those arrested in the Bath protest meet with the Bath district attorney.

The numbers are still not there! Six protesters? I've had more people in my hot tub!

There were 6 occupiers and another dozen or so outside, judging from the video. But you're right, it's not a million-man (or woman) march.

Thanks for linking to the op-ed and for posting the time for the vigil, Rottenchester

To Elmer K; Talk (especially sarcasm) is so cheap! Get out of your hot tub and take some action (any action that accords with your values) then maybe folks will be able to respect what you write here.

Trees - I linked to the op-ed, but I didn't find it to be persuasive at all. Since I've covered that ground here already, I didn't think it was worth a second go-round.

I'd be interested how you know that Elmer isn't already acting to make his community better. I guess you have some kind of attachment on your computer that can figure that out. Where can I get one of those?

Interesting. You good ol'boys can dish it out, but you can't take it!

There's a big difference between making an observation, sarcastic or not, based on a fact (the size of a protest) and what you did. You assumed that someone else wasn't doing anything to change their community based on absolutely no evidence.

Yawn! This a bore and a waste of time. I'm out of here-- too much fuzzy-headed diatribe, not enough substance.
