More Vote Coverage

In today's Corning Leader, Randy Kuhl explains his "no" vote.

Kuhl also gets coverage in todays' Democrat & Chronicle and Star-Gazette.

In all the stories, Kuhl signals that he still might vote for a compromise.

How would Massa have voted?

I don't know. I will ask that question at the next press conference.

This is one of those times when incumbancy works against you. It ironic, but typical, I suppose, that the Bush administration timed the decision point perfectly to hurt his loyal supporters in Congress. Loyalty is a one way street for frat boy.

One of the things this vote revealed is that the majority of the Republicans in the House are immune to pressure from the White House or their leadership. Too little too late, probably, but everyone's running against Bush this election.
