Call Her Big-Boned, But She's Gonna Sing Soon

The Star-Gazette reports that Massa's going to orientation in DC this week.

Roll Call speculates on defeated Republicans' job prospects, including Randy Kuhl's.

Comments

Was suprised about the "significant ethical or personal baggage" comment in Rollcall. Would have thought that would have been left alone.

I don't see where it's relevant for a lobbying job, anyway.

It's more than relevant, it's a prerequisite.

Last week pystew posted that the about 1000 Absentee and Affidavit ballots in Yates County should be done on Monday. Little Yates County, deep in Kuhl country on Keuka Lake, could bring the vote to the point of no return for Randy.

C-SPAN showed Eric posing with the rest of the frosh for their class portrait outside the Capitol this morning.

Yates being so close----just remarkable. I mean, this really IS Randy's backyard, if you will.

Keuka - looks like it's close but no cigar, but there are still some votes to count.

Vdomeras - I'll see if I can find that picture.

Pepper - yep!

I think she has sung, and YATES COUNTY cast the deciding vote.

Friday Eric had a margin of 5740 with about 5900 ballots to be counted. Yates counted 672 today, with no other county reporting yet that makes Eric's margin 5760 after Yates. Subtract 672 from 5900 and you get 5228 remaining ballots. If Kuhl got ALL of the remaining 5228 ballots he would still lose by 532.

Mr. Chairman, Yates County has put Eric Massa over the top and he is now our new Congressman.

Yates County in the spotlight!!! Love it! There was a day, not too long ago, when it reliably could be counted on to vote Republican without question. A new era, I must say....
